Summer Employment Opportunities at Camp


Program Specialist - Program Specialist is responsible for running after school programs that consist of one hour meetings. The participants consist of a group of youth between 1st and 5th grade. The locations vary between the various districts the council serves: Union, Morris, Sussex, Somerset and parts of Middlesex counties. We serve the children of these communities in organizations including YMCA’s, schools, churches, and other community organizations. It is required that program specialists must have a mode of transportation and be at least 18 years of age. Upon acceptance the Program Specialist must undergo two types of training, online and in person. They will follow a program syllabus that is provided, which consists of a monthly themed lesson plan based on the Cub Scout advancement program. Program Specialists must abide by all the standards and regulations of the Boy Scouts of America as well as those put forward by the organizations we serve through our programs.
